Ik kom in actie voor Pink Ribbon...
At Anima House, community is at the heart of what we do. We believe movement is about more than simply showing up for a workout. It can be a way to connect with others, support one another, and create a space where people feel seen and cared for.
Our community is made up of people from many different backgrounds, ages, and stages of life. What brings us together is the opportunity to move, connect, and be part of something beyond ourselves.
Breast cancer affects so many people, whether directly or through a friend, partner, parent, sibling, colleague, or someone else in our community. One in seven women in the Netherlands develops breast cancer. Creating an opportunity for our community to come together, move their bodies, and contribute to a cause that supports people affected by breast cancer feels meaningful to us.
Rather than simply hosting a fundraising event, we want to use what we have: our space, our instructors, and our community to create something that gives back. Participants can come together for movement while also having the opportunity to make a contribution, with the majority of the proceeds from the classes going toward Pink Ribbon.
For us, this is what community looks like: showing up for one another, using our collective energy for something bigger than ourselves, and making our space a place where connection can lead to meaningful action.
