Run for Pink Ribbon

Zondag 12 Mei zullen er maximaal 14.000 deelnemers 5 km rennen in Lissabon, Portugal, voor het goede doel. Dit mag dan geheel niet gelijk staan aan afstanden van een marathon, maar momenteel krijgt 1 op de 7 vrouwen in Nederland borstkanker en dat is reden genoeg om middels deze gelegenheid hier aandacht voor te vragen. Op zondag 19 Mei zal ik nog eens 12 km rennen in de omgeving van Sintra, Portugal, dus laat dit je keuze bevestigen om dit goede doel te steunen. Pink Ribbon is er namelijk voor al deze vrouwen en Ik kom in actie om geld op te halen voor belangrijk borstkankeronderzoek.

On Sunday, May 12th, up to 14,000 participants will run 5 km in Lisbon, Portugal, for charity. This may not equal the monstrous distance of a marathon, but in addition to this day, on Sunday, May 19th, I will run a 12 km trail in the Sintra area, Portugal, which in my eyes stipulates reason enough to support this cause. Because, currently, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer worldwide. Pink Ribbon is there for all these women and I am taking action to raise money for important breast cancer research.
