Veiling geslaagd! Auction succeeded!

Saturday 18th May

Andy de Sutter heeft €350 geboden op het schilderij via de veiling. We begonnen op €300, gingen omhoog naar €325 met dank aan Marian Michiels maar Andy kwam terug! We zijn ongelooflijk trots dat de veiling geslaagd is.


Andy de Sutter has made a bid of €350 on the painting. We started at €300, went up to €325 thanks to Marian Michiels but than Andy got back! We are incredibly proud of the auction being succesful.

Het zwembadhuis

Wednesday 15th May

Op de foto zie je het zwembadhuis! De locatie voor het feest. We zijn gisteren met de groep veilig aangekomen in Cannes en hebben we de locatie alvast bekeken. We hebben ook al veel sterren op de rode loper zien passeren. Met mijn fan favorite: Jane Fonda! Vandaag haal ik samen met Dirk het schilderij op. Wie wordt onze volgende donateur die ons over de €250 zal tillen?

Schilderij aangekomen in Gent

Friday 10th May

Woohoo! Gisteravond zijn Dirk en Marian met de bolide aangekomen in Eindhoven en rond twee uur 's nachts zijn we mèt het schilderij in Gent geraakt. Daar staat het nu veilig ingepakt op de kast (zie foto). Woohoo! Yesterday evening Dirk and Marian arrived in Eindhoven in their fancy electric car. Around 2 AM we came to Gent with the painting! It's now standing safely on top of the book (visible in the picture) De spanning stijgt!

Monday 29th Apr

Van 14 t/m 25 mei vindt de 77e editie van het filmfestival van Cannes plaats. Samen met Dirk Vandereyken, COO van de Association of European Journalists en meerdere sponsoren (die ik graag in volgende blogposts  introduceer) help ik mee met de organisatie van een party! Één van mijn schilderijen, 'Pink Carnation', zal daarom mee afreizen naar het zuiden van Frankrijk en geveild worden op het evenement. Het feest vindt plaats op 17 mei. De locatie wordt later deze week bekend gemaakt.
